NOVELTY - Graphene/metal composite powder modified nylon comprises 35-45 pts. wt. of liquid polyamide-6, 15-30 pts. wt. of ceramic powder, 30-40 pts. wt. of metal powder, 0.5-2 pts. wt. of graphene, 1-3 pts. wt. of calcium stearate, 0. 2pts. wt. of aluminum acetate, 1-5 pts. wt. of toughening agent and 0.5-1 pts. wt. of antioxidants. USE - Graphene/metal composite powder modified nylon for light emitting diode bulbs and printed circuit boards. ADVANTAGE - The graphene/metal composite powder modified nylon has high thermal conductivity required to meet large power requirements. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing graphene/metal composite powder which involves: (A) blending liquid polyamide-6, ceramic powder, metal powder, graphene, calcium stearate, aluminum acetate, toughening agent and antioxidants in a high speed mixer for 15-20 minutes; (B) placing blend in a twin-screw extruder for melting at 70-80 degrees C and extruding melt; (C) cooling; and (D) pelletizing to obtain desired product.
