USE - Lithium-ion secondary battery used for an electric vehicle (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The lithium-ion secondary battery has high capacity and ionic conductivity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An active material comprising a multiple of active material particles represented by a general formula LiNixMnyCo1-x-yO2, x being larger than 0, y being larger than 0, x+y being smaller than 1. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for an electric vehicle, which comprises lithium-ion secondary battery and drive motor unit.
