NOVELTY - Preparation of magnetic graphene oxide dye sensitized composite involves adding 15-25 pts. wt. titanium n-butoxide to 40-50 pts. wt. ethanol, stirring at 55-65 degrees C, adding 2-4 pts. wt. glacial acetic acid, stirring at 55-65 degrees C for 1.5-2.5 hours, adding 90-100 pts. wt. aqueous hydrochloric acid with a pH of 2.5, obtaining titanium dioxide sol, adding zinc oxide sol, reacting at 55-65 degrees C for 1.5-2.5 hours, obtaining zinc oxide-titanium dioxide sol, aging for 47-49 hours, drying, calcining, obtaining zinc oxide-titanium dioxide powder, adding zinc oxide-titanium dioxide powder and iron(II,III) oxide-graphene oxide to mixed solution containing 30-40 pts. wt. ethanol and 70-80 pts. wt. deionized water, stirring, washing with distilled water and ethanol, drying, adding to 50-60 pts. wt. 0.1 mol/L isoparaffin ethanol solution, stirring for 40-50 minutes, separating, washing with distilled water and ethanol, drying at 55-65 degrees C for 13-15 hours, and cooling. USE - Preparation of magnetic graphene oxide dye sensitized composite. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of magnetic graphene oxide dye sensitized composite having excellent catalytic performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of magnetic graphene oxide dye sensitized composite involves adding 15-25 pts. wt. titanium n-butoxide to 40-50 pts. wt. ethanol, stirring at 55-65 degrees C, adding 2-4 pts. wt. glacial acetic acid, stirring at 55-65 degrees C for 1.5-2.5 hours, adding 90-100 pts. wt. aqueous hydrochloric acid with a pH of 2.5, obtaining titanium dioxide sol, adding zinc oxide sol, reacting at 55-65 degrees C for 1.5-2.5 hours, obtaining zinc oxide-titanium dioxide sol, aging for 47-49 hours, drying at 65-75 degrees C for 13-15 hours, calcining at 520-540 degrees C for 5-6 hours, obtaining zinc oxide-titanium dioxide powder, adding zinc oxide-titanium dioxide powder and iron(II,III) oxide-graphene oxide to mixed solution containing 30-40 pts. wt. ethanol and 70-80 pts. wt. deionized water, stirring for 35-45 minutes, reacting at 115-125 degrees C for 14-16 hours, washing with distilled water and ethanol, drying in a vacuum drying oven at 55-65 degrees C for 11-13 hours, adding to 50-60 pts. wt. 0.1 mol/L isoparaffin ethanol solution, stirring for 40-50 minutes, separating, washing with distilled water and ethanol, drying at 55-65 degrees C for 13-15 hours, and cooling. The zinc oxide sol is prepared by adding 10-20 pts. wt. ammonium ferrous sulfate and 25-35 pts. wt. ammonium iron sulfate to a flask, adding 70-80 pts. wt. deionized water, stirring, adding 20-30 pts. wt. 28% aqueous ammonia, obtaining solution (A), adding 5-15 pts. wt. graphene oxide and 65-75 pts. wt. deionized water to three-neck flask, ultrasonically processing for 35-45 minutes, obtaining graphene oxide suspension, adding the solution (A), stirring at 74-78 degrees C for 40-50 minutes, separating, washing with distilled water and ethanol, drying in a vacuum drying oven at 55-65 degrees C for 13-15 hours, obtaining iron(II,III) oxide-graphene oxide, adding 20-30 pts. wt. zinc acetate to 55-65 pts. wt. ethanol, stirring at 44-46 degrees C for 45-55 minutes, adding 3-7 pts. wt. triethanolamine, and stirring for 35-45 minutes.
