NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene-modified waterborne epoxy resin comprises dissolving epoxy resin and fatty acid in solvent, putting in a reaction device, adding first catalyst, filling reaction device with nitrogen, heating for 20-80degreesC, stirring, and reacting for 6-24 hours; adding neutralizer to the reaction device, heating at 10-70degreesC, and reacting for 1-8 hours; removing unreacted fatty acid, catalyst and solvent and standing for layering; adding crosslinking agent and second catalyst into the reaction device, heating at 100-170degreesC, and reacting for 9-36 hours; placing graphene oxide in deionized water, stirring, and removing undissolved graphene oxide by filtration; and putting the graphene oxide solution into a reaction device, heating at 50-100degreesC, reacting for 18-72 hours, and cooling to room temperature. USE - The method is used for preparing graphene-modified waterborne epoxy resin. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple and does not generate toxic gas. The epoxy resin still has good reaction performance after curing. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of graphene-modified waterborne epoxy resin comprises dissolving 40-50 pts. wt. epoxy resin and 10-30 pts. wt. fatty acid in 5-15 pts. wt. solvent, putting in a reaction device, adding 0.1-1 pt. wt. first catalyst, filling reaction device with nitrogen, heating for 20-80degreesC, stirring, and reacting for 6-24 hours; adding 10-20 pts. wt. neutralizer to the reaction device, heating at 10-70degreesC, and reacting for 1-8 hours; removing unreacted fatty acid, catalyst and solvent and standing for layering; adding 0.1-10 pts. wt. crosslinking agent and 0.1-1 pt. wt. second catalyst into the reaction device, heating at 100-170degreesC, and reacting for 9-36 hours; placing 2-5 pts. wt. graphene oxide in 5-10 pts. wt. deionized water, stirring at 4000-8000 revolutions/minute, and removing undissolved graphene oxide by filtration; and putting the graphene oxide solution into a reaction device, heating at 50-100degreesC, reacting for 18-72 hours, and cooling to room temperature.
