NOVELTY - The substrate has an active layer, where a light-blocking and heat-insulating layer (20) is set on one side of the active layer. The light-blocking and heat-insulating layer is used for light-blocking and heat-insulating the active layer. The light-blocking and heat-insulating layer consists of a light-absorbing material and a light-reflecting material. The light absorbing material forms a light blocking base body. The reflecting material is dispersed in the light blocking base body. The reflective material consists at least one of silver, copper, aluminium, iron and titanium. The light absorbing material consists at least one of graphene, carbon nano tube, carbon black, polyethylene terephthalate, polyurethane, polymethyl methacrylate and polyester fibre. USE - Array substrate for use in a display panel of a display device (all claimed) such as backlight liquid crystal display (LCD) device. ADVANTAGE - The light blocking and heat insulating layer can isolate the backlight, so as to avoid the active layer generating photo-generated carrier, but also can solve the problem that the array substrate due to the illumination temperature rises, to improve the product quality of the display panel of the application light-blocking heat insulation layer, avoiding the problem of crosstalk of display panel, problem of residual image. Because the reflecting material is dispersed in the light blocking base body, so it has a larger reflecting area.
