▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - The structure (10) has graphene sheets (14-1-14-n, 14-n-1) provided on or about an object to absorb broadband electromagnetic radiation in microwave and terahertz frequencies. A transparent dielectric layer is placed intermediate the adjacent graphene sheets. The object includes a curvilinear surface. The graphene sheets are provided with thickness of about 1 nanometer to about 100 nanometers. Coated layers are formed from a paint formulation, which comprises a binder. Fabric comprises graphene with graphene flakes, natural fibers and synthetic fibers. USE - Removable structure for absorbing broadband electromagnetic radiation in microwave and terahertz frequencies emitted from an electromagnetic wave generating source to cloak an object for commercial and military applications. ADVANTAGE - The graphene sheets are provided in an amount effective to prevent transmission of the broadband electromagnetic radiation in the microwave and terahertz frequencies. The structure allows intraband absorption to dominate and a single layer to absorb 30% at light wavelength of 300 microns depending on carrier concentration in the graphene as evidenced by transmission spectrum at the microwave and terahertz frequency ranges, so that utilization of graphene for microwave and terahertz frequency absorption provides an ultra-thin and efficient absorption layer relative to other materials e.g. dielectric materials. The structure allows additives to modify surface tension, improve flow properties, improve finished appearance, increase wet edge, improve pigment stability, impart antifreeze properties, control foaming and control skinning of the object. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a schematic view of an electromagnetic broadband absorption structure absorbing electromagnetic radiation at microwave and terahertz spectrums and including graphene sheets.
