NOVELTY - Preparing spiral carbon nanotube-graphene hybrid comprises (i) loading the active component of the catalyst, carrier component and doping component on the graphene oxide, preparing graphene oxide catalyst precursor loaded with catalyst, activating, crushing to obtain graphene catalyst particles, catalyst particle size of the graphene is 1-100 nm and graphene catalyst particles in the catalyst active component mass ratio is 0.1-20% carrier component mass ratio is 1-80%, graphene quality ratio is 0.5-95%, the sum of each ratio is 100%, and (ii) preparing the catalyst particles of graphite by chemical vapor deposition to spiral carbon nano-tube-graphene hybrid precursor by mixed acid purifying to obtain spiral carbon nano-tube-graphene hybrid, mixed acid is the mixture of concentrated sulfuric acid and concentrated nitric acid, the volume ratio of 3:1. USE - The material is useful as a mechanical material, electrical material, thermal material, an acoustic material or optical material (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for spiral carbon nanotube-graphene hybrid prepared according to above mentioned method.
