NOVELTY - A nano-low-mercury catalyst comprises carrier, catalyst activating agent, additive and reinforcing agent. The carrier is selected from nano carbon powder, nano-graphite powder or graphene. USE - Nano-low-mercury catalyst (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The nano-low-mercury catalyst ensures simple process, provides high catalytic activity and anti-toxic and anti-coking properties, and long service life. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a preparation of nano-low-mercury catalyst, which involves dispersing carrier in sodium dodecyl sulfate, ultrasonically processing the carrier in 70% concentration of sulfuric acid and 60% concentration of nitric acid at 200-220 kHz, adding mercuric chloride and additives in a blending tank in a ratio of 1:100-150, adding dilute hydrochloric acid, heating at 50-70 degrees C, stirring for 40-60 minutes to prepare impregnating solution (I), dissolving reinforcing agent in 37% concentrated hydrochloric acid in a ratio of 0.1:3-5 to prepare impregnating solution (II), placing the pretreated carrier in impregnating solution (I) in a volume ratio of 6-10:1, carrying out adsorption treatment at 15-55 degrees C for 4-5 hours, carrying out ultra-filtration treatment of adsorption-treated solution using hollow fiber ultra-filtration membrane having pore diameter of less than 0.5 nm, immersing filtered carrier in impregnating solution (II) in a volume ratio of 5-10:1, carrying out adsorption treatment at 10-25 degrees C for 1-5 hours, carrying out ultra-filtration treatment of adsorption-treated solution using hollow fiber ultra-filtration membrane having pore diameter of less than 0.5 nm, evaporating, filtering, drying, heating at 95-110 degrees C to obtain the low-mercury catalyst having moisture content of less than 0.2%. The volume ratio of concentrated sulfuric acid and concentrated nitric acid is 1:2.
