NOVELTY - An audio apparatus unit (101) comprises a composite material and is configured to be mounted on or within an audio apparatus, where the composite material contains reinforcing fibers (102); matrix (103) partially surrounding the reinforcing fibers; and graphene particles (104) dispersed within the matrix. USE - The audio apparatus unit is used for an audio apparatus such as a speaker unit and an audio amplifier (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene particles present within the composite forming the audio apparatus unit provides the advantage that the audio apparatus unit is provided with improved stiffness and audio damping compared to similar products formed without the graphene. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) formation of an audio apparatus unit to be mounted on or within an audio apparatus which involves obtaining a material containing graphene particles dispersed within a resin and molding the material around a set of reinforcing fibers; and (2) an apparatus comprising the components and an adhesive, the components being bonded together by the adhesive to form a chamber, where the chamber comprises a partial vacuum, the adhesive is exposed to the partial vacuum and the adhesive comprises graphene particles dispersed throughout epoxy resin.
