NOVELTY - A graphene oxide and magnetic chitosan compound is prepared by dissolving iron(III) chloride hexahydrate and iron(II) chloride tetrahydrate into purified water, dropwise adding purified water containing ammonia water, stirring, cooling, magnetic separating to obtain precipitate, purified water washing, and vacuum drying to obtain magnetic particle; and dissolving chitosan dissolve into acetic acid solution, ultrasonically dispersing magnetic particle, adding glutaraldehyde solution, stirring, cooling, magnetic separating to obtain precipitate, cleaning, washing, and vacuum drying. USE - Method for preparing graphene oxide and magnetic chitosan compound (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The product is environment-friendly, and has high absorption performance and low cost. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A graphene oxide and magnetic chitosan compound is prepared by: (A) dissolving 0.6268-1.8804 g iron(III) chloride hexahydrate and 1.7312-5.1936 g iron(II) chloride tetrahydrate into 25-75 ml purified water under room temperature, dropwise adding 100-250 ml purified water containing 6-15 ml ammonia water, stirring at 70-100 degrees C for 150-210 minutes, cooling to room temperature, magnetic separating to obtain precipitate, purified water washing to neutral, and vacuum drying at 50-90?OC to obtain magnetic particle; (B) dissolving 0.3-1.2 g chitosan dissolve into 60-120 ml acetic acid solution under room temperature, ultrasonically dispersing 0.1-0.4 g magnetic particle, adding 1-3 ml glutaraldehyde solution, stirring at 60-90 degrees C for 120-150 minutes, cooling to room temperature, magnetic separating to obtain precipitate, cleaning using petroleum ether for 2-3 times, washing using ethanol and purified water, and vacuum drying to 50-90 degrees C to obtain magnetic chitosan; and (C) dispersing 0.05-0.3 g graphene oxide into 90-250 ml purified water for2-3 hours to obtain graphene oxide dispersion liquid, adding 0.2590-1.5537 g N-hydroxysuccinimide and 0.4313-2.5881 g 1-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-3-ethylcarbodiimide hydrochloride, stirring at room temperature for 2-3 hours at speed of 200-300 revolutions/minute, regulating pH value using 1-3% sodium hydroxide solution to 6.7-7.2, ultrasonically dispersing 0.05-0.3 g magnetic chitosan, stirring to50-80 degrees C for 120-150 minutes, cooling to room temperature, magnetic separating to obtain precipitate, cleaning with 1-2% sodium hydroxide and purified water to pH value of 7, and low temperature vacuum drying at 40-70 degrees C. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for application of graphene oxide and magnetic chitosan compound comprising adding 0.1-1 g/L graphene oxide and magnetic chitosan compound into 0.5-10 mg/L triclosan waste water, reacting at 10-50 degrees C, absorbing, and separating.
