NOVELTY - Light valve comprises a first transparent substrate, a first transparent electrode formed on the first transparent substrate, a second transparent substrate, a second transparent electrode formed on the second transparent substrate, and a light control layer disposed between the first transparent electrode and second transparent electrode, where first transparent electrode and the second transparent electrode are oppositely disposed; light control layer includes polymer matrix, polymer matrix is dispersed with suspension medium liquid drop, and suspension medium liquid drop is distributed with solid control light particle, suspension medium is acrylate copolymer; and acrylate copolymer is obtained by copolymerizing monomers alkyl acrylate monomer, hydroxy acrylate monomer, and acrylate monomer having a conjugated π-electron (I) under the action of a copolymerization catalyst. USE - The light valve is useful in preparing light valve device and light-stabilized dimming glass assembly (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The light valve: has uniform distribution, stable chemical state and anti-light stability; method: improves the dual protection of the physical distribution state and chemical stable state of the light-controlling particles, and performance of the dimming glass component; prolongs the service life; and improves the processing performance of the material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Light valve comprising a first transparent substrate, a first transparent electrode formed on the first transparent substrate, a second transparent substrate, a second transparent electrode formed on the second transparent substrate, and a light control layer disposed between the first transparent electrode and second transparent electrode, where first transparent electrode and the second transparent electrode are oppositely disposed; light control layer includes polymer matrix, polymer matrix is dispersed with suspension medium liquid drop, and suspension medium liquid drop is distributed with solid light control particle, suspension medium is acrylate copolymer; and acrylate copolymer is obtained by copolymerizing monomers alkyl acrylate monomer, hydroxy acrylate monomer, and acrylate monomer having a conjugated π-electron of formula (I) under the action of a copolymerization catalyst. R = H or CH3; and X = group having a conjugated π-electron structure including ortho-hydroxyphenyl substituent, nitrogen-containing heterocyclic substituent or carbonylbenzene ring substituent, which may be further optionally substituted. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: Preparing light valve device comprising providing solid light control particle, providing suspension medium, mixing solid light control particle with suspension medium to obtain suspension medium mixture containing solid light control particle, then providing polymer matrix precursor, mixing initiator, then initiating, cross-linking and curing of the polymer matrix precursor, mixture of the suspension medium containing solid light control particle, and polymer matrix precursor to obtain light control layer matrix emulsion, then coating the above light control layer matrix emulsion on the first transparent electrode of the first transparent substrate to obtain light control layer wet film, covering the second transparent electrode on the second transparent substrate on the wet film of the light control layer, crosslinking and curing on the wet film of the light control layer to obtain light valve device; and Light-stabilized dimming glass assembly comprising a first glass plate, a second glass plate, and a light valve arranged between the first glass plate and second glass plate.
