NOVELTY - A graphene nano ribbon (1) comprises edge structure of zigzag type in both ends of width direction, and atom or molecule (X, Y) which is different to both ends in which atom or molecule is chosen from hydrogen, fluorine, chlorine, amine, hydroxide, methyl, nitrate and transition metal. USE - A graphene nano ribbon for device (claimed) e.g. magnetoresistive device. ADVANTAGE - Graphene nano ribbon has half-metallic property. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a device comprising graphene nano ribbon (1), 1st electrode and 2nd electrode which are provided in both sides of length direction of graphene nano ribbon, and mechanism which applies magnetic field or electric field in greater than or equal to 1 of 1st and 2nd electrodes.
