NOVELTY - Preparation of three-dimensional carbon structure supported platinum-palladium-copper alloy catalyst involves (1) prepreing three-dimensional carbon structure powder, (2) mixing 1-10 pts. wt. three-dimensional carbon structure powder, 500-1000 pts. wt. ethylene glycol, stirring for 30-60 minutes, adding 5-20 pts. wt. platinum precursor solution in drops and stirring for 30-60 minutes, adding 5-20 pts. wt. palladium precursor solution and 0.15-1.0 pt. wt. copper precursor solution in drops, obtaining nano three-dimensional carbon structure-supported platinum-palladium-copper alloy catalyst, (3) suction filtering, washing with water, vacuum-drying, grinding, passing 0-20 vol.% hydrogen and nitrogen, annealing, obtaining three-dimensional carbon structure supported platinum-palladium-copper alloy catalyst, (4) using plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition to perform constant temperature plasma treatment, passing in hydrogen or nitrogen gas, and plasma treating. USE - Preparation of three-dimensional carbon structure supported platinum-palladium-copper alloy catalyst (claimed) for fuel cell e.g. proton exchange membrane fuel cell used for converting hydrogen energy into electric energy. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare multiple platinum alloy catalyst, which has high catalytic activity, high mass activity, low ring aging test quality activity attenuation, and low particle size, and provides fuel cell with high efficiency. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of three-dimensional carbon structure supported platinum-palladium-copper alloy catalyst involves (1) mixing 0.5-1.5 pts. wt. zero-dimensional carbon materials, 0.5-1.5 pts. wt. one-dimensional carbon materials, 0.5-1.5 pts. wt. two-dimensional carbon materials and 1-10 pts. wt. carbon black by weight in 20-100 pts. wt. 10 wt.% nitric acid solution, stirring at 60-80degrees Celsius for 5-10 hours, washing the obtained mixture with water and suction filtering and drying at 60-80degrees Celsius for 5-10 hours, ball milling the dried product at 250-400 rpm for 1-2 hours, obtaining three-dimensional carbon structure powder, (2) mixing 1-10 pts. wt. three-dimensional carbon structure powder, 500-1000 pts. wt. ethylene glycol, stirring for 30-60 minutes, adding 5-20 pts. wt. platinum precursor solution in drops and stirring for 30-60 minutes, adding 5-20 pts. wt. palladium precursor solution and 0.15-1.0 pt. wt. copper precursor solution in drops and stirring for 30-60 minutes, using sodium hydroxide solution to adjust the pH to 10-11, transferring the obtained uniform reaction solution to the autoclave and keep the temperature at 140-160degrees Celsius for 5-8 hours, cooling to room temperature, obtaining nano three-dimensional carbon structure-supported platinum-palladium-copper alloy catalyst, (3) suction filtering at 60-80degrees Celsius for 5-10 hours, washing with water, vacuum-drying at 60-80degrees Celsius for 5-10 hours, fully grinding, passing 0-20 vol.% hydrogen and nitrogen, annealing at 150-400degrees Celsius in atmosphere with a gas flow rate of 80-100 sccm for 1-3 hours, grinding, obtaining three-dimensional carbon structure supported platinum-palladium-copper alloy catalyst, (4) using plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition to perform constant temperature plasma treatment on the annealed samples, adding to rotatable ceramic crucible, fixing the crucible by rotating rod, passing in hydrogen or nitrogen gas, and plasma treating at radio frequency power of 150 W and temperature of 150-400degrees Celsius for 1-3 hours.
