NOVELTY - The source has a graphene thin film layer oriented perpendicular to a conductive substrate on a carbon nano-tube array. The carbon nano-tube array is connected with an end of a carbon nano-tube to form an integral structure with the graphene thin film layer. USE - Field emission electron source for a carbon nanotube graphene composite structure. ADVANTAGE - The source greatly improves carbon nano-tube array field emission ability, and has high stability. The source can bear high emission current density. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a preparation method for a field emission electron source of a carbon nanotube graphene composite structure.
