ADVANTAGE - The graphene-based nano-sheet toughened alumina-titanium boride composite ceramic material has excellent fracture toughness and anti-friction performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included forpreparing toughened alumina-titanium boride composite ceramic materials based on graphene nanosheets, comprises (a) dispersing 0-0.6 pts. wt. graphene in 100ml absolute ethanol solution, dispersion treatment to obtain a graphene dispersion; (b) adding graphene dispersion to 70-80 pts. wt. submicron alumina, In a mixed dispersion of 20-30 pts. wt. titanium boride and 0.4-1.5 pts. wt. sintering aid, ball milling, drying and sieving to obtain mixed original powder,(c) filling the mixed original powder into the mold and pre-press; and (d) introducing the mold into the spark plasma sintering furnace for sintering, performing heat preservation and cooling to room temperature.
