NOVELTY - A lubricating oil comprises graphene oxide dispersed in base oil. The graphene oxide is formed by oxidation-treating graphite in water. A graphene oxide dispersion liquid from which water is removed by centrifugation, is formed by adding surfactant to aqueous solution containing the graphene oxide, and adding intermediate solution mixed with non-polar solution to a polar solution. The graphene oxide is dispersed in base oil by adding the graphene oxide dispersion liquid to base oil. USE - Lubricating oil is used for gear and piston. ADVANTAGE - The lubricating oil has low friction and low-abrasive characteristics, and has high dispersibility with respect to the graphene oxide. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for manufacture of lubricating oil, which involves producing graphene oxide by oxidation-treating graphite in water, adding surfactant to the aqueous solution containing the graphene oxide, producing a graphene oxide dispersion liquid by adding intermediate solution mixed with non-polar solution to a polar solution, and removing water by centrifugation in the aqueous solution containing the graphene oxide, and dispersing graphene oxide in base oil by adding the graphene oxide dispersion liquid to base oil.
