▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Chloramines are removed from chloramine-containing fluid solutions or streams by contacting the solutions or streams with an activated carbon characterized by having present in the graphene structure of the carbon of 0.01-10 wt. % of aromatic nitrogen species. USE - For removing chloroamines from chloroamine-containing fluid solutions or streams. ADVANTAGE - The invention provides greater improvements in removal of chloroamines from drinking water. The activated carbons extract a greater amount of chloroamine from chloroamine-contaminated drinking water more rapidly. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for an activated carbon for the removal of chloroamines from chloroamine-containing fluid solutions or streams, where the carbon is characterized by the presence in the graphene structure of the carbon of 0.01-10 wt.% of aromatic nitrogen species.
