▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Lubricant with high thermal conductivity comprises a base oil; a polymeric thickener; and thermally conductive powder particles, where the lubricant is, at atmospheric pressure, liquid above a transition temperature and a gel below the transition temperature. USE - The lubricant is useful for lubricating a bearing. ADVANTAGE - The lubricant has high thermal conductivity, can be easily introduced into the bearing in liquid form above the transition temperature and function as a solid (i.e. not flowing) lubricant in gel form at operating temperatures below the transition temperature and can act as a solid lubricant but without the drawbacks of traditional solid lubricants. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a bearing comprising rolling elements and a solid structure arranged to separate the rolling elements from each other, where the solid structure comprises pores holding the lubricant; and (2) a method of lubricating the bearing involving heating the lubricant to a temperature above the transition temperature and the lubricant liquefies, applying the liquid lubricant into the bearing and cooling the lubricant to a temperature below the transition temperature and the lubricant gelifies.
