NOVELTY - Preparing graphite felt for liquid flow battery, involves (a) activating graphite feeling by high temperature or acid activation to obtain a pretreated graphite feel, (b) dissolving polymer in solvent to obtain polymer solution with a mass concentration of 2-30 wt.% polymer, (c) adding metal ion solution, 0.1-5% carbon nanofluoride, and stirring and dispersing uniformly to obtain polymer mixed solution, and (d) completely dipping the pretreated graphite felt in the polymer mixture solution to obtain final product of polymer felt, (e) placing the final product containing polymer felt in a freeze-drying dryer, freezing and drying to obtain honeycomb-shaped felt and (f) sintering the finished product in a muffle furnace to make it a semi-finished product. USE - Preparation method of graphite felt for liquid flow battery e.g. vanadium redox flow battery used in energy storage battery. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare graphite felt for liquid flow battery that has improved battery efficiency, multi-dimensional lifting performance, enhanced hydrophilicity, and large lifting amplitude.
