NOVELTY - Preparation of nano-carbon solid acid catalyst involves loading phosphate on a surface of a nano-carbon material as a carrier by a wet impregnation method. USE - Preparation of nano-carbon solid acid catalyst used in dehydration e.g. gas-phase dehydration of butanol (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The catalyst has the characteristics of convenient preparation, low cost, high activity, long-term stability, and has good application prospects in the gas phase dehydration reaction of alcohols. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for an application of nano-carbon solid acid catalyst in dehydrating of butanol as reactant using carrier gas containing air or inert gas by gas-solid phase catalytic reaction at partial pressure of 0.1-99 kPa, 150-450degrees Celsius, and the reaction space velocity of 1-100mL/(mg.h).
