NOVELTY - Preparing graphene gel comprises (1) preparing graphene oxide (GO) aqueous solution and stirring uniformly, (2) adding ethylenediamine in the uniform graphene oxide solution, and continuously stirring, (3) transferring the mixed solution to carry out hydrothermal reaction, (4) repeatedly cleaning the reaction product with deionization and ethanol, (5) freezing the sample, and then transferring to a freeze dryer for drying, and (6) performing high-temperature annealing treatment of graphene gel. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene gel, which is useful for dynamic thermal management of lithium-ion batteries (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene gel has thermal switch and thermal regulator function, which can realize the regulation and control of the lithium-ion battery temperature in high-temperature and low-temperature environments, can adjust the thermal resistance by changing the thickness, can rebound at low temperature to increases the thermal resistance, exhibits a role in insulating lithium-ion battery and reduces thermal resistance and dissipates heat, thus cooling lithium-ion battery. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a use method of graphene gel in dynamic thermal management of lithium-ion battery comprising using graphite gel as a thermal interface material to wrap the lithium-ion battery, fixing the outside of the graphene gel with a radiator, using graphene gel in its original state in a low temperature environment, and using compressed graphene gel as a thermal interface material in high-temperature environments.
