DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing a flame-retardant foamed polypropylene material, which involves mixing polypropylene, intumescent flame retardant, compatibilizer, antioxidant, synergist and β-nucleating agent uniformly, carrying out extrusion granulation to obtain modified polypropylene pellets before foaming, and drying, using supercritical fluid carbon dioxide (CO2) to foam the modified polypropylene pellets to obtain foamed polypropylene pellets, where the compatibilizer is ethylene-maleic anhydride copolymer.
