ADVANTAGE - The material has excellent structural stability and electrochemical cycle stability and realizes the multiple modifications of metal ion doping and phosphate coating. The method is simple and easy to operate, and obviously improves the electrochemical performance of the lithium-rich cobalt-free material and has good application prospect. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Multi-modified lithium-rich cobalt-free single crystal material, comprises a doped nickel lithium manganese substrate of formula (LixNiyMnzN1-y-zO2) (I), and surface coating (LiCoPO4or LiMgPO4) (II), where N is cobalt and/or magnesium element, x is more than 1 and less than or equal to 1.5, y + z is more than or equal to 0.9 and ≤ 1, is new. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing multi-modified lithium-rich cobalt-free single crystal material.
