NOVELTY - The electrochemical etching porous graphite felt electrode material is prepared by preparing mixed solution of N,N-dimethylformamide and ammonium sulfate as electrolyte, using magnetic stirrer at constant temperature, conducting electrochemical pretreatment experiments with graphite felt as positive electrode and graphite felt as negative electrode, rinsing with deionized water, drying and taking positive electrode graphite felt for electrochemical etching test, adding graphene oxide into N,N-dimethylformamide, using high-power ultrasonic disperser to pulverize, using as electrochemical etching electrolyte solution, using pretreated graphite felt as positive electrode, using pretreated graphite felt as negative electrode, applying voltage to ends of positive and negative electrodes, performing electrochemical etching experiment, after electrochemical etching is completed, rinsing with deionized water, drying and taking negative electrode graphite felt. USE - Electrochemical etching porous graphite felt electrode material for preparing electrode for organic liquid flow battery (all claimed) used for electric network storage application. ADVANTAGE - The electrochemical treatment method changes the inner structure of the graphite felt electrode material, increases the porosity and specific surface area, introduces oxygen-containing functional group at the defect, and improves the electrode material electrochemical activity. The method is simple and industrial practicability is high.
