NOVELTY - Preparing lithium titanate-graphene composite cathode material involves mixing lithium source compound and de-ionized water in ratio (1-10):(90-99) to prepare lithium source solution, adding alcohol and acid in ratio 0.1-1:0.01 to obtain premix, and adding titanium source compound to prepare titanium source solution. The solution is stirred, and ratio of lithium and titanium is 0.6-1.0:1. The lithium source solution is added in titanium source solution, and liquor ammonia is added to adjust pH value to 7-9. The solution is stirred for 2 hours. USE - Method for peparing lithium titanate-graphene composite cathode material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare lithium titanate-graphene composite cathode material that has good discharging rate, uniform lithium titanate coating and and higher coating density, reduces agglomeration of the particles, increases the electric conductivity, improves conductivity of lithium titanate and high-rate performance, prolong the reaction time, and in simple and cost effective manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing lithium titanate-graphene composite cathode material involves mixing lithium source compound and de-ionized water in ratio (1-10):(90-99) to prepare lithium source solution, adding alcohol and acid in ratio 0.1-1:0.01 to obtain premix, and adding titanium source compound to prepare titanium source solution. The solution is stirred, and ratio of lithium and titanium is 0.6-1.0:1. The lithium source solution is added in titanium source solution, and liquor ammonia is added to adjust pH value to 7-9. The solution is stirred for 2 hours, and mixed uniformly to obtain lithium titanate precursor sol. The lithium titanate precursor sol is subjected to ultrasonic wave, graphene is added, and filtered to obtain solution. The solution is washed, dried, sintered at 600-800 degrees C for 8-24 hours in inert atmosphere, and cooled to obtain lithium titanate-graphene composite material.
