NOVELTY - Preparation of porous zeolite adsorbent, comprises (1) adding the sodium source into the deionized water, fully dissolving, adding silicon source, stirring for 25-30 minutes to obtain solution A; (2) adding the potassium source into the de-ionized water, fully dissolving to obtain the solution B; (3) mixing the solution A and the solution B uniformly, slowly adding titanium source, continuously stirring for 1.5-2.5 hours to obtain solution C; (4) adding the template agent into the solution C, stirring for 2.5-3.5 hours to obtain the reaction mixture gel; and (5) adding reaction mixture gel to the reaction kettle, performing hydrothermal crystallization, washing, filtering, drying, calcining at high temperature to obtain the porous zeolite adsorbent. USE - The porous zeolite adsorbent after surface hydrophobic treatment is used for volatile organic compounds (VOCs) treatment (claimed). Can also be used in field of zeolite synthesis. ADVANTAGE - The surface of the nanocrystalline by using silane reagent (trimethyl chlorosilane or hexamethyldisilazane) for hydrophobic treatment obtains the hydrophobic porous zeolite adsorbent, e.g. hydrophobic surface is more beneficial for adsorption of molecules in VOCs. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for use of porous zeolite adsorbent, subjected for surface hydrophobic treatment, then applying the porous zeolite adsorbent after surface hydrophobic treatment to VOCs treatment.
