NOVELTY - Transition metal-graphene-carbon nanohorn composite comprises a graphene-carbon nanohorn composite, and a transition metal oxide coated on the composite. USE - The transition metal-graphene/carbon nanohorn composite is useful in electrode active material for energy storage device i.e. supercapacitor and battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The transition metal-graphene/carbon nanohorn composite has improved electrical properties and ionic conductivity, and ensures high-density composite performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for manufacturing the transition metal-graphene/carbon nanohorn composite, comprising preparing the graphene/carbon nanohorn composite using spray drying method, and bonding the transition metal oxide to the surface of the graphene/carbon nanohorn composite.
