NOVELTY - Composite material prepared by using 40-50 pts. wt. polyimide, 10-20 pts. wt. polyethylene fiber, 10-15 pts. wt. modified carbon fiber, 20-30 pts. wt. modified epoxy resin, 5-10 pts. wt. calcium stearate, 8-15 pts. wt. diphenyl silicon glycol, 3-5 pts. wt. carnauba wax and 1-3 pts. wt. dioctyl fat, specifically (1) adding polyimide, polyethylene fiber, modified carbon fiber and modified epoxy resin into reaction kettle, and reacting at 60-90 degrees C for 2-4 hours at a speed of 500 revolutions/minutes to obtain first mixture material, adding calcium stearate, diphenyl silicon diol, carnauba wax and dioctyl ester to the first mixture, and stirring for 2 hours under condition that temperature and rotation speed remain unchanged to obtain second mixture, and (2) extruding and pelletizing second mixture in a twin-screw extruder to obtain a composite material for preparing a carbon fiber fishing rod, the extrusion temperature is 280 degrees C, and the screw speed is 250 revolutions/minutes, is claimed. USE - The composite material is useful to prepare carbon fiber fishing rods. ADVANTAGE - The material: has high toughness, strong mechanical properties, good water resistance, simple preparation method, and practical value in preparation of fishing rod materials.
