▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - A gas diffusion layer comprises a conductive substrate, and a silane-modified carbon powder and a binder on the conductive substrate. USE - The gas diffusion layer is useful in preparation of membrane electrode (claimed) used for proton exchange membrane fuel cell. ADVANTAGE - The gas diffusion layer has high superhydrophobic property, uniformly and stably combines conductive carbon and hydrophobic agent, effectively promotes the moisture transmission of the three-phase interface, and improves the output power of the fuel cell. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the gas diffusion layer, which involves: subjecting carbon powder to surface hydroxylation, mixing the carbon powder with a solvent and silane, and heating and stirring the mixture to obtain silane-modified carbon powder; mixing the silane-modified carbon powder, binder and dispersant to obtain microporous layer slurry; and compounding the microporous layer slurry with conductive substrate, and drying.
