NOVELTY - Preparing sulfurized fatty acid comprises (a) taking kitchen waste oil, centrifuging and removing suspended solids, adding specific amount of water for removing colloidal substances, drying and dehydrating, adding 1-5 wt.% of the quality of the kitchen waste oil activated white clay, heating to 90-120 degrees C, uniformly stirring, and insulating for 1.5 -2.0 hours, and decolorizing, (b) placing the purified kitchen waste oil in a reaction vessel, adding deionized water, adding ionic liquid catalyst, stirring, and reacting at reaction temperature of 90-150 degrees C for 3-4 hours, (c) cooling the catalyzed and hydrolyzed kitchen waste oil to room temperature, and allowing to stand for removing the lower mixed liquid to obtain crude fatty acid in the upper layer, (d) distilling the crude fatty acid to obtain refined fatty acid, and(e) mixing refined fatty acid with sulfur powder, heating to 120-140 degrees C, and slowly stirring for 1.5-2.5 hours to obtain vulcanized fatty acid. USE - The method is useful for preparing sulfurized fatty acid. ADVANTAGE - The coating: has convenient and simple preparation; is environmental friendly; improves the fireproof performance, waterproof ability and mechanical performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the graphene wire cable flame retardant coating comprising (i) mixing aqueous film-forming base material and graphene using ultrasonic stirring device and stirring for 30-60 minutes to obtain mixed emulsion, (ii) adding ammonium polyphosphate, melamine, pentaerythritol, titanium pigment, silicon dioxide, montmorillonite into high-speed dispersion machine to stirring for 60-100 minutes to obtain mixed solution, (iii) transferring the mixed emulsion and mixed solution to the low-speed stirrer, adding water and auxiliary agent, mixing and stirring for 60-120 minutes to obtain slurry, (iv) transferring the slurry into a grinder, grinding into fineness of 35 microns and discharging.
