NOVELTY - An intercalation assembly of boron nitride-graphene composite material comprises a graphene sheet and a hexagonal boron nitride film layer intercalated between graphene layers. The hexagonal boron nitride film layer connects the graphene layers between graphene interatomic layers to form an intercalated structure of graphene/boron nitride in the form of sandwich. The intercalated structure of graphene/boron nitride forms a thermal bridge. The graphene layer has a nanoplate structure. The hexagonal boron nitride film layer has single layer or two-dimensional structure. USE - Intercalation assembly of boron nitride-graphene composite material used as thermally-conductive filler additive (claimed) for polymer materials. ADVANTAGE - The intercalation assembly facilitates the formation of thermal conductive network in the matrix resin, and improves thermal conductivity of polymer material rapidly. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) use of intercalation assembly of boron nitride-graphene composite material as thermally-conductive filler additive; and (2) production of intercalation assembly of boron nitride-graphene composite material.
