▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - A positive electrode comprises a positive electrode active material and a conductive material. At least portion of surface of the positive electrode active material is covered with the conductive material. The positive electrode active material comprises lithium cobaltate comprising magnesium, fluorine, aluminum, and nickel. The lithium cobaltate has a region in the surface layer where the concentration of at least one or more of magnesium, fluorine, and aluminum is maximum. The conductive material comprises carbon. USE - Positive electrode used for secondary battery. Uses include but are not limited to semiconductor device such as electro-optical device and semiconductor circuit, display device, light emitting device, electric storage device, illumination device, electronic device such as portable information terminal, and vehicle. ADVANTAGE - The positive electrode has stability in high-potential and high temperature, and provides secondary battery having excellent charge/discharge cycle characteristics. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for manufacture of the positive electrode, which involves mixing lithium cobaltate, an additive, acetylene black, a binder, and a solvent to prepare a slurry, applying the slurry to a positive electrode current collector to form an electrode layer, and heat-treating the electrode layer.
