NOVELTY - Preparing aqueous epoxy graphene rust primer comprises (i) mixing deionized water with dispersant, pigment filler, rust converter, and aqueous graphene emulsion to obtain first mixed system; (ii) grinding first mixing system to obtain polishing slurry; (iii) adjusting pH of polishing slurry to 8-9 under 600-800 revolutions/minute by an amine neutralizing agent to obtain second mixed system; (iv) stirring and mixing second mixed system with aqueous epoxy resin, leveling agent, antifoaming agent, and cosolvent to obtain third mixed system; and (v) stirring the thickening thixotropic agent, and mixing with the third mixing system. USE - The method is useful for preparing aqueous epoxy graphene rust primer. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple; and has rust corroded substrate and good adhesion property.
