NOVELTY - The preparation of graphene/polyaniline composite hollow microsphere involves (a) adding aniline monomer and ammonium persulfate to graphene dispersion, stirring, polymerizing, filtering, washing to obtain graphene/polyaniline composite, (b) dispersing composite in water, adding dispersion to styrene oil phase, emulsifying to obtain oil/water emulsion, placing the emulsion in water bath, reacting, centrifuging to obtain graphene/polyaniline/polystyrene composite solid microsphere, (c) adding composite microsphere and tetrahydrofuran, stirring, centrifuging, washing, and drying. USE - Preparation of graphene/polyaniline composite hollow microsphere used in catalysis, sensor, super-capacitor and other applications. ADVANTAGE - The method obtains emulsion droplets of different sizes, by adjusting the amount of emulsifier, oil-water ratio, shear rate and other factors, regulates the size of the hollow microspheres easily, and enables the preparation of graphene/polyaniline composite hollow microsphere efficiently by simple process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The preparation method of graphene/polyaniline composite hollow microsphere involves (a) dispersing graphene oxide in water, adding hydrazine hydrate, reacting at 80-100 degrees C for 6-12 hours to obtain graphene dispersion, mixing graphene dispersion with polystyrene sulfonic acid, ultrasonically processing for 12-24 hours to obtain stable black dispersion, adding a certain amount of aniline monomer to graphene dispersion, adding ammonium persulfate, stirring, polymerizing aniline for 5-10 hours, suction-filtering the reaction mixture, washing with deionized water to obtain graphene/polyaniline composite, (b) ultrasonically dispersing graphene/polyaniline composite in water, adding graphene/polyaniline composite dispersion to styrene oil phase comprising 0.6-2 %mass initiator, emulsifying for 1-5 minutes to obtain oil/water emulsion, placing the emulsion in a water bath at 50-60 degrees C, reacting, leaving to stand for 15-24 hours, centrifuging the reaction product, washing with deionized water for 3-5 times, drying at 30-40 degrees C for 6-10 hours to obtain graphene/polyaniline/polystyrene composite solid microsphere, (c) adding 1-3 g graphene/polyaniline/polystyrene composite solid microsphere and 20-60 ml tetrahydrofuran, stirring for 2-4 hours, completely dissolving polystyrene, centrifuging the solution, washing several times using tetrahydrofuran, until completely washing away the polystyrene, and vacuum-drying the obtained solid at 30-40 degrees C for 1-2 hour.
