NOVELTY - Preparing antibacterial toughened polyurethane comprises (i) mixing graphene oxide and chitosan solution uniformly, performing the hydrothermal reaction and solid-liquid separation to obtain modified grapheme and (ii) mixing the modified graphene with polyurethane prepolymer solution in an inert gas atmosphere, adding an initiator to reacting, then adding a chain extender to continue the reaction and then removing the solvent. USE - The antibacterial toughened polyurethane is useful as food packaging bag (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The polyurethane: has excellent toughness and antibacterial property. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for antibacterial toughened polyurethane prepared by the above mentioned method.
