NOVELTY - Preparing ZIF-8/graphene oxide composite membrane involves dispersing the ZIF-8 precursor and graphene oxide in the solvent with spcific mass ratio of ZIF-8 precursor,graphene oxide and solvent is 1:150:1:1000-100000, performing ultrasonicating for 0.5-4 hours to obtain the ZIF-8 precursor/GO mixed solution, coating the obtained ZIF-8 precursor/GO mixed solution on the porous support, putting into 2-methyl imidazole solution, performing conversion treatment at 20-200 degrees C for 0.5-48 hours, washing and drying to obtain the ZIF-8/GO composite membrane. USE - Method for preparing ZIF-8/graphene oxide composite membrane used for gas separation, such as hydrogen/nitrogen separation, hydrogen/carbon dioxide separation, carbon dioxide/nitrogen separation, carbon dioxide/methane separation, ethylene/ethane separation or propylene/propane separation (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method has simple operation, synthesized composite membrane has excellent H2/CO2 separation performance, and large-scale production. The effect of precursor conversion strategy is expected to be applicable to other microporous materials/GO systems.
