NOVELTY - Preparing shell-layer structure aluminum-based material comprises using water as solvent, chlorine salt or sulfurate as etchant, stirring in preset time by an open system at room temperature and normal pressure, filtering and washing, removing redundant ions and drying to obtain single-shell-layer aluminum-layer material, and adding buffer matrix in the process of preparing shell layer structure aluminum base material to obtain multi-shell layer aluminum base material. USE - The method is useful for preparing shell-layer structure aluminum-based material used as cathode lithium ion battery. ADVANTAGE - The method: does not use strong acid and alkali solution; consumes low energy; is simple, fast and environmentally friendly; saves energy. The aluminum-based material: has high reversible lithium storage performance; and improves the storage capacity of the battery. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for use of shell structure aluminum-based material as cathode lithium ion battery, comprising (i) mixing aluminum-based material, acetylene black and sodium carboxymethyl cellulose uniformly in a mass ratio of 7:2:1, adding deionized water, stirring to form a paste slurry, (ii) coating slurry on the surface of the copper foil by the mechanical coating method, vacuum drying at 40degrees Celsius for 8-10 hours, cutting the copper foil into discs with a diameter of 12 mm, using the difference method to calculate the active substance mass loaded on the wafer, and (iii) using the obtained disk as the working electrode, with metal lithium as the counter electrode and the working electrode, with the concentration of 1 M lithium hexafluorophosphate solution of dimethyl carbonate and ethylene carbonate, the solvent ratio is 1:1, as an electrolyte, a lithium-ion battery was assembled for testing the lithium storage performance of aluminum-based anode materials.
