NOVELTY - Preparing low oxygen, high stripping graphene oxide comprises e.g. (1) mixing expanded graphite, ethanol and water, shearing and dispersing resulting mixture to obtain a dispersion, (2) homogenizing and suction filtering dispersion liquid, drying and crushing solid material to obtain a thin-layer and few-layer graphite sheet material with a particle size of 20-30 µm, (3) mixing graphite flake material with concentrated sulfuric acid, adding potassium permanganate, and sonicating to obtain material to be reacted, where the mass ratio of the potassium permanganate to expanded graphite is 0.5-1:1, (4) heating and reacting material, heating, and heating to obtain reaction material, (5) separating concentrated sulfuric acid in reaction material, washing and filtering solid material to obtain washed solid material, (6) washing and filtering washed solid material with a sulfuric acid solution, and (7) homogenizing solid material after pickling. USE - The method is useful for preparing low oxygen, high stripping graphene oxide, which is useful in preparation of graphene heat-conducting film (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene oxide has low oxidation degree and good dispersibility, and is environmentally friendly. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing low oxygen, high stripping graphene oxide comprises (1) mixing expanded graphite, ethanol and water, shearing and dispersing resulting mixture to obtain a dispersion, (2) homogenizing and suction filtering dispersion liquid, drying and crushing solid material to obtain a thin-layer and few-layer graphite sheet material with a particle size of 20-30 µm, (3) mixing graphite flake material with concentrated sulfuric acid according to the mass volume ratio of 1:15-30, ultrasonically cooling material to 10℃, adding potassium permanganate, and sonicating for 0.1-0.5 hours at ≮ 10℃ to obtain material to be reacted, where the mass ratio of the potassium permanganate to expanded graphite is 0.5-1:1, (4) heating and reacting material to 28-32℃ for 1.9-2.1 hours, heating to 38-42℃ for 1.4-1.6 hours, and heating to 48-52℃ for 0.5-1.1 hour to obtain reaction material, (5) separating concentrated sulfuric acid in reaction material, washing and filtering solid material to obtain washed solid material, (6) washing and filtering washed solid material with a sulfuric acid solution having a mass concentration of 0.5-2% to obtain pickled solid material, and (7) homogenizing solid material after pickling to obtain low oxygen, high stripping graphene oxide.
