NOVELTY - Method for efficiently decomposing hydrogen peroxide with graphene-coated cobalt catalyst under acidic conditions, involves mixing diaminomaleonitrile and cobalt salt, hydrothermally heating at 135degrees Celsius for 12 hours, washing and drying resulting precipitate, heating to 450-650degrees Celsius under an inert atmosphere, keeping for 2-4 hours, and acid washing and drying to obtain the catalyst. USE - Method for efficiently decomposing hydrogen peroxide with graphene-coated cobalt catalyst under acidic conditions. ADVANTAGE - The graphene-coated cobalt catalyst can efficiently decompose hydrogen peroxide into oxygen and water to eliminate potential safety hazards caused by excess hydrogen peroxide in industrial production. The catalyst has stable structure and performance, exhibits excellent catalytic performance in strong acid environment, and can be reused. The catalyst is suitable for reducing the concentration of hydrogen peroxide in various liquid systems to safe level.
