NOVELTY - Polyvinylidene norbornene divinyl biphenyl copolymer (I) is new. USE - (I) is useful for preparation of adhesives or coatings (claimed). ADVANTAGE - (I) does not contain chloride ions and potassium ions; can effectively react with organic groups; has very excellent thermal stability, oil resistance, corrosion resistance and high energy ray particle resistance; optimizes the performance of carbon element materials, including graphene, carbon nanotubes and carbon fibers; can greatly improve the heat resistance, weather resistance and mechanical strength of traditional polymer materials; and ensures the prepared polyethylene norbornene divinyl biphenyl copolymer adhesive and coatings have excellent super adhesion, excellent heat resistance, excellent mechanical properties, high strength, high toughness, high air tightness, low dielectric and high insulation. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Polyvinylidene norbornene divinyl biphenyl copolymer of formula (I) is new. R = vinyl, epoxy or acrylic group; and m, n = 20-100. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparation of (I).
