NOVELTY - Preparing non-metal doped carbon material catalytic reducing dilute nitric acid in water comprises adding non-metal source reagent into ethanol aqueous solution, and stirring until non-metal source reagent is completely dissolving or uniformly dispersing under the water bath condition, adding powdered carbon material into mixed solution, and continuously stirring under condition, after aging for certain time, placing in blast drying box for drying solvent, placing dried carbon material in a nitrogen atmosphere tubular furnace for calcining, promoting high temperature decomposition of the non-metal source reagent and doping in carbon material main body. USE - The method is useful for preparing non-metal doped carbon material catalytic reducing dilute nitric acid in water. ADVANTAGE - The method: improves conversion rate of nitric acid.
