NOVELTY - Preparing copper based polyoxometalate-functionalized graphene oxide nanomaterial comprises preparing ammonium molybdate tetrahydrate aqueous solution, heating to boil, dripping copper sulfate aqueous solution, stirring to obtain mixed solution, filtering when hot, cooling the filtrate to room temperature, precipitating the copper based Anderson-type polyacid crystals, and collecting crystals, ultrasonically dispersing graphene oxide in ethanol, adding ethylenediamine, heating to react, finishing reaction, cooling, vacuum drying to remove the solvent to obtain functionalized graphene oxide, preparing copper based Anderson-type polyacid aqueous solution using copper based Anderson-type polyacid crystal, immersing the functionalized graphene oxide in the copper based Anderson-type polyacid aqueous solution, ultrasonically dispersing, heating to reflux for 12-14 hours, filtering, and vacuum drying obtain finished copper based polyoxometalate-functionalized graphene oxide nanomaterial. USE - The copper based polyoxometalate-functionalized graphene oxide nanomaterial is useful in catalyst for treating organic pollutants (preferably rhodamine B) in water body (claimed).
