NOVELTY - Preparing reduced graphene oxide by one-pot method comprises (1) obtaining graphite oxide at room temperature after oxidation by adding a strong oxidant to a strong acid solution containing graphite, adding water to quench the reaction, obtaining graphene oxide slurry by pickling, ultrasonicting and centrifuging, (2) adding a strong base compound to the graphene oxide slurry to perform a reduction reaction, and obtaining a basic reduced graphene oxide suspension after the reaction is completed and (3) drying reduced graphene oxide suspension, activating by microwave, washig with water until it is neutral and free of impurities, and drying to obtain reduced graphene oxide powder. USE - The method is useful for preparing reduced graphene oxide by one-pot method. ADVANTAGE - The method: simplifies the oxidation process; realizes the rapid synthesis of reduced graphene oxide; reduces energy consumption; and shortens the synthesis time.
