▎ 摘　　要

NOVELTY - Joint prosthesis comprises (a) a first component having a first cleaned silicon carbide layer, and (b) a first annealed graphene layer arranged on the first cleaned silicon carbide layer. The first annealed graphene layer is a first contact layer interfacing a second component of the joint prosthesis. At least one of the first component and the second component is moveable with respect to the other component. USE - Joint prosthesis. ADVANTAGE - The prosthesis is resistance to wear, maintains proper joint function, prevents destruction of bone caused by particulate debris generated as portions of the prosthesis, and has good durability, longer lifetime, and improved strength. The friction between the contact surfaces is reduced. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for method for manufacturing the joint prosthesis.
