NOVELTY - A lithium ion battery composite cathode material comprises mesoporous aluminum phosphate and graphene layer doped with cerium and zirconium. USE - Lithium ion battery composite cathode material. ADVANTAGE - The cathode material has good conductivity, stability and cycle performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the cathode material comprising dissolving aluminum isopropoxide in absolute ethanol at mass ratio of 1:5-10 to obtain aluminum isopropoxide ethanol solution; preparing 0.1 mol/L zirconium salt and cerium salt mixed saline solution; dropping 52-54 wt.% phosphoric acid aqueous solution to aluminum isopropoxide ethanol solution while stirring, adding mixed saline solution and surfactant, stirring, and adjusting pH to 8-8.5 using alkaline complexing agent to obtain a sol; adding to hydrothermal reactor, reacting to 160-200 degrees C for 12-24 hours to obtain cerium and zirconium-doped mesoporous aluminum phosphate precipitate, collecting, drying, and insulating to 450-650 degrees C for 5-7 hours to obtain cerium-zirconium-doped mesoporous aluminum phosphate powder; and dispersing polyethylene glycol and graphene in N-methylpyrrolidone, adding lithium ion battery positive electrode material and cerium-zirconium-doped mesoporous aluminum phosphate powder, mixing, ball milling to obtain mixed slurry, vacuum drying to obtain mixed powder, insulating to 450-550 degrees C for 3-5 hours under nitrogen atmosphere, cooling, crushing, and screening. The molar ratio of aluminum isopropoxide, cerium, zirconium, phosphoric acid and surfactant is 1-2:0.5-1:0.5-1:1-2:0.1-0.25. The mass ratio of lithium ion battery cathode material, cerium-zirconium doped mesoporous aluminum phosphate powder, graphene, polyethylene glycol and N-methylpyrrolidone is 40-100:0.5-10:0.1-10:0.1-10:50-200.
