NOVELTY - The preparation method of graphene composite flame retardant involves mixing the raw materials, carbonizing, and aging. USE - Preparation method of graphene composite flame retardant for rubber material. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of graphene composite flame retardant with excellent flame retardance, by simple, economical and industrial process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation method of graphene composite flame retardant involves (1) mixing the raw materials, weighing asphalt with particle value of 60-300 mesh and additive in mass ratio of 100:20-100:100, where the purity of additive is greater than 96%, completely grinding and sieving, where the asphalt is coal asphalt, petroleum asphalt, residual oil asphalt, synthetic asphalt or mesophase asphalt, the additive is aluminum oxide, magnesium oxide, aluminum hydroxide or magnesium hydroxide, (2) placing the raw materials in an atmosphere furnace, increasing the temperature to a predetermined temperature at a certain heating rate, heat-preserving for certain time, cooling to room temperature, where the low temperature carbonization is performed at 800-1500 degrees C at rate of 1-50 degrees C/minute for 1-10 hours under protection atmosphere of nitrogen or argon gas at flow rate of 50-200 ml/minute, and (3) aging the product obtained in step (2) at 10-40 degrees C for 24-480 hours under proper humidity of 30-90%.
