NOVELTY - Assembly includes thermal management multilayer sheet equipped on a surface of an electrochemical cell. The thermal management multilayer sheet comprising a thermally-insulating layer, a first heat-spreading layer disposed on a first side of the thermally-insulating layer, and a second heat-spreading layer disposed on a second side of the thermally-insulating layer. USE - Assembly for a battery. ADVANTAGE - The assembly provide one or more of a reliable and consistent c-set resistance and stress relaxation performance over a broad range of temperatures, e.g., 15-120degrees Celsius. The first and second adhesive layers can have any thickness suitable to provide effective adhesion, preferably wherein the thickness is also adjusted to not waste adhesive material or significantly adversely affect the desired properties of the thermal management multilayer sheet. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a battery, comprises the assembly for a battery, and a housing at least partially enclosing the assembly for a battery; and (2) a thermal management multilayer sheet, comprises a first high temperature laminate adhered to a first side of a compressible thermally-insulating layer, and a second high temperature laminate adhered to a second opposite side of the compressible thermally-insulating layer, where the first high temperature laminate film comprises a first heat-spreading layer equipped on a first side of a first integrity layer, and a first adhesive layer equipped on an opposite second side of the first integrity layer.
