NOVELTY - Producing soft-hard template based graphene comprises reacting cetyltrimethylammonium bromide as structure-guide agent, tetramethoxysilane as silicon source and oil soluble organic small molecule pyrene as carbon precursor in acidic system to obtain silica/cetyltrimethylammonium bromide/pyrene complex material, then molding and calcining to obtain direct growth of graphene/silica film on dielectric medium substrate. USE - The method is useful for producing soft-hard template based graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple and produces high-quality graphene. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for graphene, comprising the graphene thin film and aqueous solution of graphene, where the graphene thin film is a silica/graphene/silica sandwich structure having a non-linear refractive index of n2 i.e. 10-12 m2/W grade level, and the aqueous solution of graphene has 5 nm grade level with a thickness of 2-3 layers.
