NOVELTY - Preparing chitosan-based gadolinium ion imprinted material, comprises taking carbon nano-tube as carrier material, firstly performing surface amination modification using polydopamine, then crosslinking with the imprinted chitosan and eluting gadolinium ion with acid, and reacting with graphene oxide to obtain final product. USE - The chitosan-based gadolinium ion imprinted material is useful as adsorbent for adsorbing gadolinium ions in water. ADVANTAGE - The chitosan-based gadolinium ion imprinting material: has excellent adsorption performance; and is easily separated and recovered from the water. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for chitosan-based gadolinium ion imprinted material, obtained by above mentioned method.
