NOVELTY - Nitrogen-doped non-metal catalyst prepared by nitrogen doping on graphene or reduced graphene oxide micro-sheets and nano-silicon dioxide, is claimed. USE - The nitrogen-doped non-metal catalyst is useful in activating persulfate for removing pollutant (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method: is simple, easy, and economical; and consumes low energy. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing nitrogen-doped non-metal catalyst comprising (1) soaking nano silicon dioxide in alcohol or ketone solution containing amino-containing silane coupling agent, carrying out surface grafting to make the surface with cation, drying, grinding, and dispersing in water, (2) mixing graphene oxide dispersion liquid with the nano silicon dioxide dispersion liquid, heating and stirring uniformly, and (3) placing mixed dispersion in a container with a lining of polytetrafluoroethylene, then adding aqueous ammonia, reacting under the condition of high pressure, high temperature and uniform stirring, cooling, washing, and removing the moisture content by drying to obtain the nitrogen-doped non-metal catalyst.
